Multiple OS in VPS Hosting
Our virtual private server solutions include three Linux releases which you could pick from for the Operating System of your new web server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. In addition to being free, the OSs are extremely stable and safe and the reason to offer all three of them is to make sure that you will be able to run any app that you would like, because different pieces of software may have different requirements regarding the environment they can be used on. Each of the three OSs is supported by a vast community of developers who have generated many hundreds of software packages that you can set up and use on your VPS. In accordance with the Operating System which you choose, you will also be able to choose between three different Control Panels to take care of your hosting content. Of course, if you decide that you need some other OS, we can always reinstall the server with it. As a paid upgrade, we also offer weekly updates of the Operating System for maximum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Web Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're completely free so they won't increase the price of your new server, but also because they are outstandingly secure and stable. Each one of them is backed up by a large community of web developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from many hundreds of software packages that you can install on your server in case the app that you intend to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what web hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on particular OSs only and since we want to provide you with as much versatility as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you get a server with a certain OS, we will change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you need another one. We could also keep your OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of our optional Managed Services upgrade.
