An access log is a comprehensive list of all the files that were accessed by the guests of a certain website. Any file that was requested for whatever reason will be listed, so if you have one page with 3 embedded images, one video and one embedded text file, as an illustration, the access log shall contain a total of six entries - one for any of the 6 files which were accessed when the visitor opened the webpage. A log typically contains the file name and path, the date, as well as the visitor’s Operating System, web browser and IP address. Enabling or disabling the logs takes effect instantly, so if you no longer need one, you could stop it with a click from the exact same section of the CP.
